object subtypes / IFC / predefined rules

<T>When creating an object, I understand we should define a subtype that will apply predefined parameters that are aimed to give facility management structure to the information model.
I do also understand that only some very general IFC parameters are ruled out by this subtype selection ...
I understand predefined rules do not affect the IFC parameters in my object.

Well, I guess I would like the subtype and predefined rules to kind of "input" some IFC informations directly... Is that possible ?

I also understand some of the IFC configuration schemes are hidden because they are "fundamentals"...
Is it possible to look at the "hidden" IFC configuration schemes someway ?

Any input would be welcome.

Is someone aware of where I could have additional information on the gdl commandscript : ifc_subtype ?</T>
