<T>I have been approached by a company that would like to set up a Home Manufacturing Plant and because they understand that I would prefer to use AC for design and CDs they have asked me to research whether there is any interface with CAM which would allow the extraction of the necessary information for cut lists etc. Any information on this topic would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.</T>

GSCNE once created a data wall type for a steel stud home manufacturer that would generate all wall elevations, shop drawings and a chop list. In minutes.
I did some similar work for a firm that went bust before we could finish. That was back in version 4.1 as I recall. It should be much easier now.

Dwight & Matthew,

Do you know whether there would be a direct data exchange into the CAM software or would you have to create and print lists and reinput the data? Matthew could you offer more details on this, for example what the CAM software package was that you were working to. PM is OK too.

Thanks for the replies.
