topic Problem importing a 3DS file with texture in Collaboration with other software

<T>It is after many vain attempts and some research that I decide to post this request.
My concern is therefore the import of a 3DS file in ArchiCAD, and more exactly the application of its textures. My imported objects are grayed out, with no textures.
I tried among other things to assign textures in 3DSMax, after this manipulation and after the import under ArchiCAD, the latter proposes to me to select my textures in the form of JPEG, but even then my objects remain grayed out!

If I missed a subject that already deals with this subject I'm sorry, I nevertheless sought!
Thank you in advance, Grégory.

Sorry for my bad english!</T>
