Thanks a lot Oleg .

I can know work with the Russian "Autocadiste".

The text is change without question mark, the good russian text have now appear.
The name of layers also change but they become "specials" latin characters. I think if I have the menu in Cyrillic they will appear with his good name but these would be mine French layers names which would appear in special Cyrillic characters…

None is completely perfect.

<T>I try to open a dwg file in ArchiCAD 8.1 on OS X.3.9 Which contain cyrillic Characters and I only obtain "?????". Same with the layers names.
In my conversion option, I choose to transfer all the polices not found to a cyrillic police that he does also with superb "?????" .

After opening, I can create on this file a block of text with the cyrillic police without problem —by choosing the russian keyboard…—.

Does someone had a solution to my problem ?</T>

True Type in DWG or SHX?

If SHX, do you have the SHX fonts used? Ask the guys to do eTransmit.

Is your whatever (can be Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian ...) Cyrillic keyboard on?

Hello Djordje

Thanks for the Reply.

My Russian Cyrillic Keyboard is on.
I don't know if it is true type or shx. I don't receive a .shx file with the .dwg.

I make a try with the AC9 Demo Version and he works partially with the standard dwg translator.
The texts appear with little square and not with question mark.
If i change the font to a Cyrillic one of my system the good text appear.
Other point the missing fonts appear in my list of font when i edit a text in ArchiCAD.

On the other hand the layers name are always a beautiful collection of question mark as on AC81.

What is eTransmit ?

Just tried it. Yes, on 8.1 INT I have ???? too
But on 9.0 RUS all is OK. ( I have no 8.1 RUS installed, but I think it will work too ).

Unfortunately, I have no good solution. But I think an easy solution may exists. May be it is required to change default archicad Font Script Code but I dont know Mac platform well. May be for this purpose editing resources is required.

I can offer little bit hard solution. It seems works, if autocad fonts were in the correct encoding.
Though layer names will not be actually cyrillic as the INT version does not use a cyrillic font for dialogues so it will look funny. Plan texst will be cyrillic if you choose cyrillic fonts.

You will need to enter 66 lines in the dwg translation dialogue : Miscellaneous / Character conversion:

ArchiCAD AutoCAD
Character Character
128 192
129 193
..... up to
159 223

Then

224 224
225 225
...... up to
255 255

And two more

221 168
222 184

May be anybody knows the right , easy solution.
