ARCHICAD TO REVIT HOW??

Hey guys,

I designed my building in archicad but am having issues creating the complex facade and ive tried everything and have no luck.

so my alternative is to use revit to build this facade since it deals better with this.

My question is, is it possible to transfer the archicad file that ive already built most of my building in, and put it into revit and retain all the elements in each story?

I want to still be able to see the plans of each floor in revit once I add whatever I need to so i can export the plans, and sections.

... Also, how do I transfer the archicad file to revit??

I've got no experience in revit at all but seeing as this is the only way to get the facade I want I need to transfer the file or re draw everything on revit which is not at all ideal.

Hi, Do a google search on "Archicad facade". Many different ways of producing a facade in Archicad

Could you show an example of the facade you want to model?
Better than Revit, try Rhino+Grasshopper and back to Archicad and I bet you will be able to model anything buildable.

I posted another thread asking how to create the facade I want but only have one reply! I've tried every other way about to try what has just been posted. If you have any recommendations pleaseeee let me know!
