The problem is, that Archicad 10 is already on the market and we don't compile new versions every day, rather in every week or two.
If there is an unforeseen bug in the code, then the next compilation comes only a week or two later (and all bugs are unforeseen ).
I'm sorry for this delay. I can promise that this will come, I already have a non-official-compilation version of it, but to release something it must pass a certain route of installer creation, quality check and quality check again.
Yes I do know that Apple was ahead of their road map but even if GS was alining with Apple's original road map then the universal binary of maxonform should be out by now. So where is the beef??? I'm holding up the whole migration of an office, albight a rather small one but still, because of un-realized promises form your part. It is better to tell the truth than to tell us 2-3 weeks all the time. This is true I would have considered switching from mac to pc and AC10 to Revit if I had known that it would be at least another year for maxonform to be universal. And now I am even more ready to do just that. So what has stoped me only your now lame promises! and my love for the mac and general distain for most other pc manufacturers
Maxonform for ArchiCAD 10 Intel?

<R>It has now been a couple of months since I last wrote on this site. I have been looking continuously at this and maxon's forums to see if there has been any news. There has been a slight movement from graphisoft, now listing maxonform for intel macs to be available soon???? What ever that means. Can or is any one allowed to tell anything at all about the continuation or not of maxonform. For me it is quite frustrating since one of the reasons I upgraded to Mac INTEL and to ArchiCAD 10 was for the seamless integration of a free form modeler that archicad has always lacked. So do I go out and spend yet again on a stand alone modeler which outputs 3ds files or do I wait for a little longer and send out to third party modelers as i do now. Please inform an anxious and quite exasperated user community who took the plunge and went Mac INTEL.
Don't hold you're hopes to high!! I started asking the same question back in August. The first answers I got were that cinema 4D had not yet been ported to intel??? It had already been on the market since end jan (one of the first apps to be ported!!) Next I've been getting, in one or two weeks for the past 3MONTHS!!!? so as I said do not hold your hopes too high. Actually I've now resigned to being happy if it comes along at all!!
How do you really think thats possible when you don't give us a REAL road map for the app??

cheers
Hello,
I am also very interested in the Intel version of MaxonForm, checking this forum everyday and waiting for any news about it...
I was using MF quite often (not just for GDL, but also as modeler for ArtLantis library parts etc.) until December when I`ve switched from regular PC to MacBookPro... I did not have any problem with any other software after the switch, just with MaxonForm ...
Last year I convinced few schoolmates and friends to use MaxonForm and I am still getting quite lot of questions when they are in trouble with it and local reseller wants me to organize few lectures about MaxonForm on our university in March... I hope the intel version will be really released until March, because I can not imagine to show MaxonForm after three months of not using it (moreover on PC).
I downloaded the latest Cinema demo for training, but it`s quite different...

If it is in the last stage of development, could you release at least some beta-version (at least the modeler that could be installed)?
Or does anybody know how to install the modeler and run it under Rosetta? I am still getting messages during the installation, that the installation will not continue because of not enough space on my HDD - I`ve tried it with three different installation CDs...

Or, have anybody tried to use it under the ParallelsDesktop (anyway, I really don`t want to invest into Parallels and WinXP licence just because of MaxonForm (that will be released for Intel Mac in week or two)... )
