    <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;&lt;T&gt;Currently the element ID field is 15 characters long. I am attempting to compile a construction kit of favourites which will cover the domestic work which makes up almost all of my workload. I would like each favourite to have an ID where:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The first three characters are a Uniclass schedule G ref; the next three are a Uniclass schedule J ref, and then say fifty characters for an abbreviated description. In this way I can compile lists and schedule according to Uniclass elements and include a direction to the materials &amp;amp; workmanship spec via the sched J portion while critically allowing the builder to recognise the nature of the element from the drawing label. So, Graphisoft, what about a 64 character ID field.&lt;/T&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>You could use an IFC field that you create yourself instead of the ID field. Then you have 225 (or is it 255) characters to play with</description>

      <description>The 15 character limit to the ID no longer exists in ARCHICAD 19.&lt;BR /&gt;
