topic MasterFormat references in composite schedule in Collaboration with other software

<T>Hi, all.

I'm setting up a schedule for composites like walls, slabs, roofs, etc. The schedule lists the materials in each composite, which is really nice, but I'd like for each material in the composites to have a MasterFormat spec reference.

For example, I'd like for the face brick component to reference the Division 4 section in my specs. I know how to add a MasterFormat reference but it applies to the entire composite rather than each material.

Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated. I'm nearing the end of my 30-day trial.</T>

OK, I might have found my workaround.

I discovered that materials already have OmniClass sections listed in the Description field but the Building Material ID field is blank. It looks like I can type in the MasterFormat division in the ID field and then add that field to the Composite Schedule. Not bad. Does this sound right?
