This Artec Studio software can output into multiple formats:

https://www.artec3d.com/3d-software/artec-studio

As I see it can save into *.E57 file format, which is a Point Cloud format ARCHICAD is able to import and use.
It can also save into *.STL file format, which is another file format ARCHICAD is able to import and use.
So I think the 2 solutions should be able to work together.

<T>At our university we will study CAD's including Archicad next year. I was also told that our studies will include reverse engineering using 3d scanners according one of educational project. But nobody tells me which and how. Could you tell me wich 3d scanners may be used with CADs?
They also mentioned Geomagic X ore something....?</T>

Are these 3D scanner outputting Point Cloud files?
If the 3D scanner can output a Point Cloud file in xyz or e57 format then it can be directly imported into ARCHICAD 19 or later.
There is also a free application called CloudCompare which you can download from here: http://www.danielgm.net/cc/
Using it you can convert Point Clouds from one format to another so if the 3D scanner

If the 3d scanner what?
One of the guys 2 years older wrote me that our university parcisipate in this:<S></S><LINK_TEXT text="https://www.artec3d.com/news/discounts- ... on-science">https://www.artec3d.com/news/discounts-on-3d-scanners-education-science</LINK_TEXT><E></E>
Maybe I misunderstood something, but the site says it uses it's own software. So what about CAD, and how to know if this scanners output point cloud files or not?
