<T>Hi, i'm translating uniformat II classifications from english to frensh, meanwhile, i'm replacing the original indexes with the SAME ONES but with some spacing,
for exp : old index A1010 new : A 10 10
so it looks better when i work,
does translating or tweaking indexes format affect in any sort any collaboration or data exchange ?</T>

AFAIK - Classifications, like every other property in Archicad use a guid as a identifier, which is fixed for its lifetime, so changing the id or name should not have any effect. The dialog boxes should pick up the change and maintain the connections.

I understand this was not true for earlier versions. The change was made in different years for different attributes, but if you are using 24, you should be OK?

As long as you DO NOT delete the classification and re create. Then it would assign a new guid
