I can't get this to work with Cadimage windows. They just default to 1500 high. Hopefully there is a fix in future releases

What window are you using?
I just checked some of the default Archicad Library windows and they all have a minimum height built in except for the storefront windows - they just generate an error on 3D and don't display but it doesn't crash Archicad.

2 workmates replicated it, I dare not try myself

You're right. My previous test was in AC16. AC18 freezes. Have you let Cadimage know?

yes i created a new ticket outlining the bug,
also complaining about the more convoluted menu system for the
cadimage door & window builder (in version 18 )

you have to go through about 10 different tabs just to change all the materials of a window to be the same, its worse for doors

10 different menus to change the different fill types and they are scattered about all the menus

same for pen types scattered through the menu

they need a new interface re-design

A new interface??? Don't say that they change it every 2 years. You just figure out where everything is and then someone has a great idea to change it all again. I have been using it in its various forms for 16 years, and It still annoys me.

Yep, lots of clicks to change materials, and some things are hidden pretty deep now, like door leaf settings (style and dimensions). And I don't know why there is not a "Right leaf is exactly the same as left leaf" button. And the procedure to add schedule notes seems a bit convoluted...

We're actively exploring improvements to the GDL UI, including discussions with a selection of our customers. It's difficult to balance a desire not to stress everyone out with changes against the need to make the UI much more efficient.

Maybe best to do a complete overhaul making all the changes & improvements in one big leap with some instructions.
