<T>Door & window IDs are locked in schedules generated in V21. Other elements in the schedule can be edited. Am using the "hotlink and element id" field for the ID, both new and existing units. Seems like I have been able to edit them right from the schedule in the past.
What am I missing. Thanks Tom</T>

Easy solution, but interesting problem! You need/want to schedule the "Element ID" field - which will be editable.

My old schedules that used the old "ID" field were converted when opening in AC 21 to use the "Hotlink and Element ID" field that you're seeing - and which is not editable. A bug in their file conversion process I think since the now-named "Element ID" serves the same function as the old "ID" field.
