Exporting Building Material Property Data to Excel

A24 - For a few versions now Properties can now be added to Building Materials and this data can be displayed on a model element using the skin list label. This same data can be scheduled using a Component schedule. However the custom properties added to the building materials can not be edited via this schedule nor can they be exported to excel as Component Schedules are not an option for exporting data.

Am I correct that this is a fact, or am I missing something.

It clearly says in the user manual ----> User manuals-> ARCHICAD 24-> ARCHICAD 24 Reference Guide-> Interoperability->Import/Export Property Data via Spreadsheet, that building material properties can be "managed" this way.

Thanks ahead for clarification on this.
