Export mesh toDWG Autocad

<T>Am using the translator in AC 23. Archicad Help shows a box in the translator to "export 3d Data" but doesn't appear in the translator dialogue box. Am trying to export through Publisher via a layout. Cropped to layout. Have tried it in the view also, but still doesn't show up. Does AC 23 automatically export 3D mesh that can be read in standard Autocad? Am perplexed that it's in the help but not in the program. If not, how can it be done.

Thanks, tom</T>

You need to export it using 3d window (or view). When you export via layout - it records only 2D data.
You can use publisher, just drag into it 3D view (it can be camera too).

But is it the actual mesh? Or simply a picture of the mesh
