topic Objects Relative to a Zone in Collaboration with other software

<T>Until now I never noticed that Mesh and Roof Objects do not have the ability to be relative to a zone.
This would be handy for Phase Schedules.
I know several ways around this but it would be sweet it there was a check box in the Mesh and Roof objects selection settings to let those objects be relative to a zone when needed as it is not uncommon for dirt work and roofs to have scheduled phasing as well as using those tools for constructing parts and pieces of something else that might have scheduled parts by zone.</T>

Hello gdford,

I am very surprised but I confirm that the slabs and meshes do not seem to be well linked to zones like walls, columns and beams (after having tested by myself). Also I succeeded in finding a roundabout way to detect the elements slabs and meshes related to a zone.

Call "3D linked elements" about your zone.

I don't know why this function is limited.

Hey Christophe,
Thanks for the information.
I do not know what "Call 3D linked elements" means.
I do not see anything in the zone selection settings referencing this.

Hello gdford,

This is one of the zone properties you are able to put into schedules.
