Would a copy and paste from one file to another transfer this data?
I haven't tried but I think it would just like any other custom parameter setting.
Yep, that's the case. I have a huge amount of object instances, classified and all with codes, names etc, and I'd like to save these as favourites in our template for this actual type of building. The objects are generic and are supposed to be static. Copy works fine but I'd like to have all the objects in our AC20 template ordered in folders.

<T>Hi,
I've got about 1000+ object that I've imported from one single IFC-model. All objects are converted to .gsm with the importer and they keep all the classifications and codes from the original software as long as I use the embedde library. However I'd like to extract this embedded library to a folder for use on other projects but when I do that all data in the objects disappears... Any clue how to solve this?
Are you using the same IFC Schemes and IFC Rules in the two files?
That may be a reason why those IFC-related data are present in one file and not in the other.
