I am not aware of any option the DWG/DXF Translator Dialog that could achieve that.

You can make a wish for this feature, we can vote on it and if it gets enough support, we can submit it to GRAPHISOFT for consideration.

If you do make a wish, please post its link in this thread.

We hotlink pln files (unit plans) into Teamwork building plans.

Is there a way to export to DWGs with linked xrefs (for consulants). They want to be able to retain the link between the building file and the individual unit plans.

Thanks Laszlo,

This was just a request from a consultant. I would rather add some other items to a wish list. For example, a mesh / slab that keeps a constant thickness with top elevations are modified. Used for suspended slabs. Parkade slabs. We use solid element operations but this is tedious.

Yes, the Mesh with a constant thickness has been a wish by many for a long time.

So much so, that a few users actually created a Library Part to provide this functionality. Here is the AC24 version:

https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Developer-forum/Is-there-a-tool-object-for-making-a-mesh-with-a-specified/m-p/277102/highlight/true#M6957

And someone back-saved it into AC22, so AC22 and AC23 users can also use it:

https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Developer-forum/Is-there-a-tool-object-for-making-a-mesh-with-a-specified/m-p/277108/highlight/true#M6963
