Export hotlinks as xrefs.

We hotlink pln files (unit plans) into Teamwork building plans.

Is there a way to export to DWGs with linked xrefs (for consulants). They want to be able to retain the link between the building file and the individual unit plans.

I am not aware of any option the DWG/DXF Translator Dialog that could achieve that.

You can make a wish for this feature, we can vote on it and if it gets enough support, we can submit it to GRAPHISOFT for consideration.

Thanks Laszlo,

This was just a request from a consultant. I would rather add some other items to a wish list. For example, a mesh / slab that keeps a constant thickness with top elevations are modified. Used for suspended slabs. Parkade slabs. We use solid element operations but this is tedious.

Yes, the Mesh with a constant thickness has been a wish by many for a long time.

So much so, that a few users actually created a Library Part to provide this functionality. Here is the AC24 version:
