The only idea would be to edit blocks names manually in the library manager. But it is not a real solution. I hope Graphisoft can fix this but also some other problems regarding importing/exporting blocks (roundtrip DWG-PLN-DWG): for ex. DWG dynamic blocks lose their insertion points.

Hi All,

We are obligated to submit area calculations marked with polygons and blocks with area use codes, to a DWG robot software that checks the drawing. we have a good Archicad translator that does the job, except for additional automatic numbering that is added to the block name - AREA_SYM (Archicad) > AREA_SYM{1} (autocad), this number addition is preventing the robot software to recognize the blocks.

Any ideas how to cancel this addition in Archicad side?

Thanks

Dani

Thanks, I solved the issue by deleting every similar block in the project and in the embedded library. when there is only one location of the blocks it works fine without adding numbers.
