topic AC10 Fill handels in Collaboration with other software

<T>I am working AC10 and have imported a site plan that has fill handles 10,000 or so feet away. So when I zoom to extents it zooms far out into the void.
I know various ways of resolving the problem but really would like to just turn the fill handles off without changing the orientation and location of the fill handels.
Has this option changed since AC9?
Thanks
Check
View/On Screen View Options/Fill Handles

Consider making a template for importing DWG files that has a bunch of these types of settings the way you like. ( no layers etc. Then do a file merge)

We're having problems with many of the "On Screen Display Options" showing up in exported DWGs -- specifically the Section Depth Outlines -- this is BAD!
This appears to be a known bug -- is this the recommended workaround?
