runxel is correct I tried to edit the posts and delete these images. I found two links. about the .str file that is text file so someone could export from excel to this type of file using a macro. Read the following article from Tekla,

Export a model to Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis | Tekla User Assistance

and the syntax of the file but in older version

R97 Mod 01 | PDF (scribd.com)

Hello,

In my country, structure engineers uses autocad / revit for strucural drawing, and autodesk robot for analysis,

An engeneer asked me if there is a connection between Archicad and robot, so i can transfer the saf format to him for analysis

Thanks

Interesting, and how is it ?

Do you faced some incompatibility of some shapes, transfer problems ?

Do you have any advice for modelling in Archicad to have a good SAF file for robot ?

Thaanks

That's SAT with a "T", not SAF, with an "F" 😉

@Ahmed_KLook at the official website.

Robot has no native support for SAF. There is a converter, but even then Robot can only import as per today, not export.

So, no roundtrips for you...
