We are struggling with DWG export

We have been working for the government and we are struggling to send our project in DWG. The government have layer, block, lines and other settings that we have to meet . Archicad can't do it, we have to work in AutoCAD to get our files the right way. They offer us the Revit protocol but Archicad doesn't communicate with revit at all.

1- The dwg translator didn't have any updates since 2005 and I thing before that. 😞

2- The translator offer until 2018

3- No Revit compatibilty

What we see in our reality is that many private project are asking to work in Revit with all other consultant. We have to stop putting our head in the sand Autodesk family have the market every school, university all the student are form on Autodesk product. Archicad is not a bad software but nothing move in the direction of compatibility with REVIT and autocad . We are losing so much time to get our project conform.

I have some questions,

Are you an "expert" or "Newbie" archciad user ? No offence. if you're newbie we can help you to start your interoperability journey.
did you dive deep in the translators settings and interoperability between Archicad and Autocad ?
Did you try to exchange archicad model using IFC and dive into settings ?

Hello, we are not newbie. We do struggling do to an almost conform translation of the dwg. We do a layout merge and only the first page appear in AutoCAD. We notice that we have nonplottable layer that appear in AutoCAD and those layer are working. If we do put everything on that layer we can see the drawing on paper space in AutoCAD. Very strange we do need some helping here.

If we do a page by page everything is working but went we do a merging we do have a lot of problems.

We find a solution but didn't find the corrupted problem in the plan. What we did:

1- We save the projet from teamwork to PLN

2- We start a new Archicad with the basic template

3- In the new virgin Archicad we merge the project that we save from teamwork as PLN. The project is the problem because went we check the DWG in autocad we only have the first page on 12 pages.

4- Restart a new Archicad with the basic template but this time we just import the layout and kept the original PLN open. We save the 12 pages as DWG and merge went we open it in autocad everything was working.

We don't know what element in the project is missing with the exportation problem.

With our solution it still working but I find out that if you modify the translator setup we get the same result in autocad. We don't see all the page in autocad. 😞 in paper space mode.
