Dalux plugin problem with "Duplicated External ID in Elements"

I tried Dalux for the first time and ran into a problem with the plugin. I was wondering if someone have encountered this issue before.

When I perform a DaluxBIM Upload, the 3D model in Dalux does not display and shows the error message: "Duplicated External ID in Elements." But all of the Archicad IFC IDs and the Unique IDs seem to be different from each other... And if i understand corectly Archicad creates an external ID from the Unique ID when you export it...

I managed to narrow it down and found that this problem occurs when there are openings created with the Opening Tool. Have someone come across this issue before?

I had the same problem. I could oly export without openings, which is absurd.
After talking to Dalux, they haven´t found a solution yet.
Anyway, the Archicad plugin is useless because there is no direct Issue (aka comments in Dalux) connection between Archicad and Dalux (unlike Revit).

So, Dalux is already working on the problem, trying to find a solution?

Since they are the developers of the Add-On, they are in the best position to fix the issue.

About the Issue connection: Can you export BCFs and import those in Dalux?

No, from what I know they are not working on the problem. I should not have written "yet"… apologies for the misinformation.

What I did not write is that Graphisoft should solve the problem, because I do not think it is a Graphisoft problem.

I agree with you, Dalux should solve the issu since they are the developers of the Add.on.

An Archicad - Dalux BCF workflow import and export is possible… but considering the price of Dalux and that a direct an issue connection with Revit is possible, this is a major downside for Dalux in comparison with other platforms (i.e. BIMCollab).
