Same problem for me. We are linking directly to a PLP file and when ever anyone send and receives we loose the Schedules.

We had to make the Schedules in the Project file which works ok for us but wouldn't be helpful when doing a housing scheme with lots of different House Types saved a s Modules.

Having moved the Schedules into the PLP file (which solved the dissapearing Schedules problem) I found that any Storey that had more than 100 doors in it the Interactive Schedule would "miss" 10 or so dooors from ID 80 to 90.

Due to finding no way round this problem myself I contacted my Reseller and gave him a copy of the file. I believe the file is being looked as by Graphisoft in Hungary and hopefully they can find a solution.

I need to issue the Door Schedules by the end of this week and I'm even thinking of reverting back to AC 9 to get round the problem. I'm hoping I can use AutoCAD dwg file format with the ArchiCAD info attached as a means to get it back into AC 9 as I assume AC9 can't open an AC10 file.

You can save an ArchiCAD 9 file format from AC 10, but if you used AC 10 library parts, the can not be converted back to 9 format. (GDL is not backward-compatible) If you load the AC 9 library, ArchiCAD may find the respective parts (if the AC 10 part has a matching object in AC 9) but you might have problems with the parameters.
If you are on IntelMac, read this:
I know it's a little off-topic.... why not? It seems like it would be easier to save a GDL file to a previous version than it would be save a PLN to a previous version.

My reseller did come up with a solution to the schedule "missing" 10 or so doors which at the moment I can't remember what the solution was but I will have a rummage in my e-mails at work and post the solution later.

Having said all that we did find that contary to my earlier post, occasionaly and it did seem to be random but it was usually after a new team mate had joined and then left the Project we would loose the Schedules which would then mean the associated Views would be lost to.

As a reult once we had the Schedules set up and working I would export the Schedule keep it in a safe place on the Server and should the door schedules disappear again it was much easier to import the Schedules and then set up the Views again albeit you have to kick everyone out of the Project sign in as Team Leader in exclusive mode to get it all fixed, which obviously is very disruptive when you have 4 or 5 folks to sign out and sign back in.

Here's hoping AC 11 has this sorted.
