topic IS Door Sched Param edits in Collaboration with other software

<T>This may have been talked about but for the last several days I have been into a large project door and window schedule problem and wondered about others experiencing the same conditions: set up schedule - get all the parameters set and the schedule looks fine -- then find that I need to correct the leaf thickness of several of the entries. Set the element in the schedule window to highlight and attempt to fix the number from 1 3/4" to 1 3/8". Simple enough - except that the program wants to enter the number really fast to get it to accept --but when typing the number, as soon as the spacebar is hit some of the number disappears and I was left with 1' 3/8" for the entry . All various attempts to fix were met with greater difficulties at each step. Changed tactics to copy and paste from a correct cell and the number was accepted.

Take weekend off- open file today and all of the changes did not hold and some of the entries reverted back to the 1' 3/8" entry----not fun. My stored alternate file ( saved to my laptop to take home) showed all the empty openings to be the door that the empty opening was originally selected from - not the empty opening.

So the question is: is this buggy behavior? bad files? limitations in the way the IS works? AND how to deal with the bog slow response time?

This is from a door schedule of about 34 entries encompassing about 250 doors in unit plans for a 72 unit section of a project.
