Try also asking here:

http://www.buildersnet.org/IFC-BIM/

Check your IFC file with a viewer BEFORE you import it. Not sure how SAP handles multilevels, it is (I suppose) a setting there.

Which Archicad and what IFC version?

<R>Hi,everyone
I'm new with archicad, and still learning.
I'm trying to open an ifc file from SAP 2000, and it worked.
But...each of the element from SAP 2000 model was read as a different story in archicad, the result is I have 221 stories for a 5meter tall model...Could somebody tell what I do wrong?and how to fix it?Can I merge all the stories into one story?

Thank you,</R>
