Yes.

I've set up BOMA Zone Categories and control selection and calculation by Layers and Calculation Schemes.

You are on the right track.

<T>what is the most efficient way to use multiple zones in order to analyize areas using zones. has anyone created a schedule for BOMA calcs? i have searched through here, read the manual, used Virtual Tutor, step by step, CAD to Quantity survey and there isn't a single source that explains how to go from zone to net rentable area calcs grabbing gross s.f., measured s.f., etc. i can create the zones for all of it.. how does one go about keeping the zones separate on a schedule? not listing the room names but only the rentable floor area and major vertical penetrations? is it in the id of the zone, or a custom user tag.... please assist</T>

i figured out that you can have multiple zones on mulitple layers and scheme the schedule to list those zones you want. is this the right approach for BOMA calculations?
