Modifing Archicad models in other programs

recently I had a request of someone who wanted to ask if they can modify or actually do some changes and 3-d enhancements in this program (Lightwave with *.lwo format.) is this possible to import an archicad model or save to this format?

You can export Archicad to 3DS. From there, you could probably import it into almost anything else... but I'm betting it won't be pretty.

The 3ds export from ArchiCAD is readily editable in C4D. I assume this to be true in other apps as well.

Actually the AC export capabilities are pretty good. There is special script for 3dsmax that can automate import models from Archicad process.
