<T>Can someone help me with auto scheduling. I need to add a new user define parameter into the schedule field so the auto schedule will reflect the materials that is chosen for a specific room. The person that created this schedule is no longer here and I have no idea how to work it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. And I hope I made sense. Im a new ArchiCad user.</T>

Did you ever solve this issue? I made the original schedule so I probably can help.

The Infamous Jared!

Its been so long ago that I don't even know what I did to change the fields. If you can refresh my memory on how to change the user defined parameters or add one it would be great. We've just been using what you had set up.

thanks,
Infamous? I think I'm okay with that...

A lot of the information in the room schedules and window schedules is 'dumb', as in I just found an empty parameter, labeled it what I wanted, and filled in the information.

If you open up the schedule (in v10, I'm guessing), go to Scheme Settings and choose an available parameter that will allow you to type in whatever number/text you want. If there isn't an unused user defined or custom text parameter available, go to 'Additional Parameters', find the object you're using in the folder view, then add a new user defined parameter. There should be plenty. Once you've added the new parameter to the schedule field, you can rename it in the actual schedule.

Hope that helps. Feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions about standards or other things I tried setting up back in the day.
