Problem when Installing Architerra

I cant install the ArchiTerra 3.0 add-on for Achicad!!
the message saying that windows cannot open the file "Architerra.apx"! and ask me to select from the list of programes or use the web service to find the appropriate programe!..'
What shall I do to install it??

but...are you doing a double-click on ArchiTerra?
It's an add-on so it should launched inside ArchiCAD!

Hi Fabrizio,
I havn't even installed the Architerra yet. The problem is, I have problem installing it to my computer at the moment. is there any software or driver to read the add-on for Architerra?? I thought, if i have installed the Archicad programe, it would usually automatic read the add-on software but it dosent....

The .apx file needs to be in the "Addons" folder'. Mine is here:

C:\Program Files\Graphisoft\ArchiCAD 11\Add-Ons

Hi Doug,
I've just tried to put the file in the "add-on" folder, and still have no hope....= . =....
Shall I need to check on the window website look for an appropriate software to read the .apx file??

Have you tried reloading the libraries?

Edit: In archicad go to The options menu. Click Add-On Manager- Edit list of available addons- Search for more addons. Double click the addon to load it.

Hi Doug,

it's working now!!! it was silly that I've tried double click on the apx file it self!! infact, when I located .apx file in the place you've suggested, it's automatically appear on the Archicad programe @ Design>>Design Extra & >>> Architerra 3....hahahah....

hi everyone,
i have archicad13 and downloaded architerra for archicad 13. i'm sure it'S the appropriate version but the Add-On Manager says: The file is an outdated Add-On that cannot be used with this archicad version. i've also tried other versions and i got the same message. i how can i upload or install it?

Hi everyone, I have a question in Archicad 14. I have enabled the architerra 3 plug-in, it shows it in add-ons list, but I can't understand how to get to the panel of the Architerra itself, searched whole program, searched on internet, but can't find a single clue.

Does the "ArchiTerra 3.0 (AC140).apx" work with the 64-bit release of AC14 or is there a separate apx ?

As all the other add-ons you have install the proper version: the 64 one under WIN 64, the 32 one under WIN 32 (like you do with ArchiCAD).

UPDATE: I pulled the ArchiTerra 3(64) apx out of the ArchiSuite Windows 64-bit download found at your site. www.cigraph.it/en/node/275

I have an ArchiTerra 3 software license which has the "ArchiTerra 3.0 (AC140).apx" file. This does not seem compatible with the 64-bit version of AC14. Is there a 64-bit version? Or do we have to run the 32-bit version of ArchiCAD in order to use ArchiTerra?

are you using the Cigraph USB Red WIBU dongle?
If yes, please send me its serial number, if you don't have a dongle you cannot use that version. Drop me an e-mail and I will provide you with the proper link.
