Maybe the parameter is not listed in the default list of parameters. Instead, it is an additional parameter coming from one of the LIbrary Object within the loaded libraries.
Just guessing.

Problem w/notes in window schedule

<R>I have a very simple window schedule that I used on project in AC9 . Somehow, I added a parameter called Notes/remarks.

I can't figure out how I did it as this parameter doesn't exist in the available list. I'm trying to use it again on another project and can't. (in AC9)

So my first question is: How'd I do it???

2nd question: Why can't I change the note in the schedule. If I edit the text, the Update button greys out. If I hit Apply ... the changes are lost.

I'm using Cadimage D/W builder windows.

This worked fine on the earlier project.... now nada. I'm about to resort to pasting text over the schedule </R>

Notes/Remarks is added as an addtional parameter from the "ArchiFM & Listing Parameters" of any basic Archicad window. This additional parameter may not exist in Cadimage D/Wbuilder windows...if it doesn't, you'll need to assign a different parameter for this purpose.
Is assigning a different parameter an easy task?
Hi
Assuming you are using all Door and Window Builder items, the notes you are using are probably the ones in the first screenshot. If this is the case, you need to use the Door and Window Builder schedule to schedule them (2nd screenshot). The process for doing this is detailed in the Door and Window Builder help file under 'Door and Window Schedules'.
Marc,
Have you modified your schedule with and additional parameter? Surely DW builder has an available text type parameter (possibly a user defined parameter) you could assign that would function similar to the notes/remarks parameter you're used to.

Just assign a parameter and change the header text to "Notes".
If you open a DWB window object under libraries/open object (better make a copy of this first), and browse to its parameter script (there are kazillions) scroll to the bottom and - hit the 'add' button, call it 'Custom Text' or exactly what the parameter was called in your schedule - or then get the exact parameter from your newly saved window part.

That's how it should work. It could also destroy your DWB workflow. I will guinea pig this for you <E>😉</E>

Oops, it is probably easier to 'enable' the FM/Listing parameters (in blue), try un-X-ing the 'User Defined 1', etc. fields - that is where you can put/call your text...
