Dear friends!!

before a few days i never thought that forums are helpfull!! but i tried this forum, and wooow!! u all were great!!

and you are spoiling me with that!!

ok, from time to time i handle questions about compatibality of ArchiCAD 10 with programs.

mmm, so what i am asking about here is something about this

most of AutoCAD useres have some x-ref system " hey i know what is x-ref!!" but i mean they use it totally, well how can we comunicate with that, is the best solution is still to connect draftmen or engineers with Dwg file on "ArchiCAds user" computer and keep updating that file or what??

and what after giving them " i mean people that are using Autocad" after giving them DWG files and sending the modification back . " if its 2D drawing" i think i can just import the file back and delete lines on layers i don't need??

i am using ArchiCAD for 8 years now, but never tried to comunicate in large scale!!!

i guess i still have much much much more to ask and know about , but for now this is the main issues

i mean i need to know everything i can know about the best solutions for working workflows and to comunicate with archicad and non archicad useres!!

have patient people!!

... keep XRefs as XRefs, provided the other people know how to use them. For most AutoCAD users I know, even PaperSpace is a mystery, let alone XRefs ...

mm i guess u mean something like this here?

but the issue here that ok they use x-ref, but lets say they have one archiad user, and all the others are still using autocad, i mean like this situations, what he is supposed to do?

have a dwg on his computer which is x-ref with the others? and keeps updating that file???

i mean any thing about his stuff could be helpful!!
