doubt about discontinued maxonform

Hi , i have read that the maxonform add on , for archicad 10 & 11 will be discontinued from dec 2008 , well i have archicad from version 9,10 update to 11 and i have updated , my maxonform for version 11 and is working fine , my question is,,,, if i have to download , the cinema 4 d for archicad 11 add-on and plug - in too ?, i mean if it will be necesary to complete the cimena 4d enviroment same that will be on version 12 ? hope someone could clarify this

If you have MaxonForm for 11, then the add-on and plug-in are provided for ArchiCAD 11 and MaxonForm in that package. You do not need the C4D add-on - that is just for people who own C4D as opposed to MaxonForm.

Yet, when 12 comes out, my understanding from the press release is that there will not be a MaxonForm add-on and plug-in for it - that GS expects users to upgrade to C4D then. I'm sure we'll know more when 12 actually arrives...

Hi Karl , i have a few questions , for you ,

if i update my maxonform to C4D ,i could work with C4D into the archicad 11?

if i dont update , i can continuo using maxonform into archicad 11 ,and then i never have to update to archicad 12 ?

As Karl mentioned, there will be no MaxonForm add-on available for ArchiCAD 12 and later versions.
MaxonForm will be available to order until the 1st of August 2008, and technical support for existing MaxonForm licenses will continue to be available till one year (26th of March, 2009).
Cinema 4D add-on is already available for ArchiCAD 11 http://www.graphisoft.com/products/archicad/solutions/cinema4d_download.html with the same design workflow and interface as the MaxonForm add-on has. The add-on is available in English, German, Spanish and Japanese.
Graphisoft and Maxon are offering a special one-time upgrade price for MaxonForm users to the latest release of CINEMA 4D. All MaxonForm users are eligible for a 300 EUR discount (calculated in the corresponding currency) from the net SRP of any Cinema 4D product.
