While I have not tried what you are wanting, for just about any useful utilization of the calc function your generally better offt exporting in tabbed text and importing into Excel. Then you can add that function easily.

<T>Anyone know how to do this?
I have a framing plan for a deck that will yield a schedule of 2x8s and their lengths, but I can't figure out how to add a field that give a unit price.</T>
