<T>We often deal with government agencies, which require us to re-submit drawings with only certain changes made. Since the project has often been in production for a long time since, the current Archicad project files are much further along.

This problem is that this often leads to us having to keep multiple versions of our files, which leads to all kinds of coordination nightmares.

Is anyone using a document version control software that they can comment on?</T>

AFAIK nothing except ArchiCAD and PlotMaker does. Maybe it is high time something does?

On a more realistic note - the general documentation concept is still based on paper thinking, therefore one would expect a document management solution to view stuff that is also one file per sheet of paper and mostly 2D in terms of engineering documentation based.
