OK,
I never said AC is not simple to use it is very very simple, Revit has too many parts to be put together and play with, where as AC does more with less.

One can make one GDL label that would analyse structural stability of a building, to me that is power and not only powerful in making space model geometry.

Maybe Revit can do all but with my few hours of encounter I got this much out of it.

<R>It was announced recently that there are now more then 100.000 Revit users:

<LINK_TEXT text="http://www10.aeccafe.com/nbc/articles/v ... eid=278870">http://www10.aeccafe.com/nbc/articles/view_article.php?section=CorpNews&articleid=278870</LINK_TEXT>

Not sure if students and schools are counted in that number, but at least it seems to be a lot more then many were expecting...

That seems to be getting closer to ArchiCAD <E>😉</E></R>

Looked at Revit at AIA Convention in Los Angeles,

It has a feel of a toy! Yet the their family creation (object like) is nice, but GDL is alot more capable as a result more involved.
Take AC any day over.....
Simplicity is the key. You may think it feels like a toy, but just like a child can pick up a toy and figure out how to use it, the same can be said for Revit: anyone can figure it out. Don't pass over it's simplicity for its power.

I'd like to know how you think GDL is more capable. Maybe some examples?
