<T>How do I generate a bill of materials. Square feet of wall surface, slabs, etc. I have a Client who asked me if I can do it with Archicad. I have no idea, nothing that I can find in any of the ArchiWiki or Talk Forum. Can AC do it? I would assume it would be a schedule of some kind.</T>

Well... a bill of materials is one thing (complex - need property scripts), and square footages of surfaces, volume of concrete, etc is another (simple - just use interactive scheduler).

This has been talked about at length in these forums, with Rick Thompson giving examples of his bill of materials for his stock plans in particular.

There is also a new book out on the subject, with detailed examples:
http://www.cadgarage.com/arfrcadtoqus.html

Cheers,
