You can MAKE whatever layer you want.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Doors and windows are not independent items. They are a part of the wall they are placed in. As such, they cannot be assigned layers of their own.</description>

      <description>And you just can create this layers when you exporting your file to .dwg.&lt;BR /&gt;
They will be in the .dwg file but not in the ArchCAd one…</description>

When you create a dwg from an ArchiCAD file you have many options that you manage in your dwg translator. &lt;BR /&gt;
You have some for the Layers &lt;BR /&gt;
You can in this way store: &lt;BR /&gt;
1— All the doors in a layer —in my example named "Doors"— &lt;BR /&gt;
2— All the windows in an other —in my example named "Windows"— &lt;BR /&gt;
3—All the fills in a third &lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
See the Join picture —sorry in french for AC81— &lt;BR /&gt;
