The closest you can get is printing your XLS to PDF, them importing the PDF into Archicad.</description>

      <description>On a Mac, select the cells you want to use in Archicad.  Hold down the shift key, go to EDIT:COPY PICTURE.  You get two choices:  as shown on screen or as shown when printed.  Choose the appropriate one and past into Archicaad.  Will come in grouped as editable text.&lt;BR /&gt;

there is no standard "hot link" between the two programs, but this works well if you keep the items grouped.  Makes revisions very easy.&lt;BR /&gt;

I am sure there is a similar way to do this on a PC, but have never useda PC so don't know what the key combinations are.</description>
