<T>Is there a dxf/dwg export plugin to save into R14 format for Archicad 9 and 10? My engineer cannot open my dwg because he has version 14.
Thanks in advance.
I don't believe so. I think Archicad 8.1 was the last version that could save to AutoCAD 14.

In all fairness, I should mention that AutoDesk does not support it any more either (and has not for 2 or 3 years).

Autodesk provide a freely downloadable utility "DWG True Convert" that translates any AutoCAD or AutoCAD-based drawing file for compatibility with AutoCAD Release 14, AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD 2000i, AutoCAD 2002, AutoCAD 2004, AutoCAD 2005, AutoCAD 2006, and AutoCAD 2007 versions. The DWG TrueConvert allows conversion of pen widths to lineweights and the addition of page setups.
In AC9 there was in the goodies folder "DXF-DWG 2K In-Out" That you save down to Autocad 12,13,14 and 2000. I havn't tried it to see if works in 10.
I don't see it in the AC10 Goodies

I tried to load the "DXF-DWG 2K In-Out" add-on into the AC10 Add-on folder and it does not work with AC10. Right now it seems like the only solution is to have the Autocad user download the free translator because AC10 will not export out lower than Autocad 2000
The Autocad translator is a free standing program. Anyone can download and use it, not just Autocad users.

Though I have not tried Autodesk's program does it work as a plugin within AutoCAD or as a separate application. The dwgseries one creates a menu in AutoCAD that lets you open the file without having to launch another program.
