A10 Installation Not Working...

First the buttons on the install wizard are not showing up correctly which is a sign to me that it has something to do with the problem, since everyother computer I put the CD in shows up and will do a complete install.

Once it gets to the part right before the files get copied over I hit next and the wizard goes away and never returns.

I have attached a picture so you can see what I mean when I say the buttons are not showing up correctly. (Next, Back, Finished, etc.).

the installer is a java application, so maybe that's the issue? is your version of the java runtime up-to-date? just a wild stab in the dark . . .

That was the first thing I checked.

I Uninstalled the version I had and installed the one that was on the CD just to make sure I had the right version.

I think I'm going to format the hard drive today and reload everything.

I have same problem. Think is the java machine... i tried to reinstall but nothing seems to work.

P4 3.6, 1Gb ati x800 , winXP.
