Tilt Wheel Mouse

Has anyone tried one of these with ArchiCAD?

At the moment, we have to uninstall the drivers to get the default pan to work in ArchiCAD. Doing so means we can't program all our buttons, but if this tilt wheel lets us pan, then it may be a good compromise! Especially if we can pan diagonally with it.

I have a microsoft tilt wheel mouse.
Panning with the tilt everything flashes when you pan which is very irritating,
Also it is slow to respond when you hold the wheel down to get the pan hand. My old $35 mouse was just a good,exept it gave up working.

Richard - did you just plug and play the mouse, or did you specifically install the drivers?

And are you on mac or PC? Which OS?

Sorry I don't remember.
I do recall the pan function not working at first.
But not sure what I did to fix it.
