Arrow tool in 3D mode (stuck on Orbit)

<T>When I am viewing my model in 3d it initally opens with the cursor as the "arrow" tool. This works fine and I can select and delete or modify parts of my building as normal. I can also then switch to "orbit" and rotate around my building. The problem comes when I try to return to the "arrow" tool. My cursor seems to stick on "orbit" tool and will not allow me to return to arrow mode until I leave 3D view and return to it again.

Anyone else having this issue or could help me out at all?

Thanks.</T>

If you don't like clicking, one "Esc" should get you out of the orbit mode.

rather than switch to orbit mode, just hold down SHIFT - this temporarily enables orbit mode. release SHIFT and you're back to editing mode.
Is it just shift on a Mac? On a PC, it's shift + holding scroll wheel down.

Cheers,
it's never worked on the mac - it's always been a windows-only feature.
