There is a setting under: display properties/ settings/ advanced/nvidia/ performance & quality settings, for vertical sync. Turn off vertical sync and it will work like a charm.

<T>I have recently purchased a new computer with a GeForce 7900 graphics card. It is very quick at rendering but when it is finished rendering the screen has to be refreshed as the image is only half there or the space where the rendering progress box leaves a white hole.

Does anybody have a solution for this. Does it need an adjustment in the settings?

Thanks,</T>

Thanks for the info. However when I open my performance & quality settings I have only four options " image settings or anitialising settings or anisotropic filtering or restore defaults".

I couldnt find the vertical synch settings. So I hit restore defaults and now it seems to be working well.

I had set it to High Performance but the default setting is Quality performance and that may have contributed to my problem with AC requiring a specific setting to work the best.
