It should, yes.

If not, my first guess would be that maybe you don't have administrator rights/password and could not install a new driver. Maybe? If you do, maybe the installer just hiccuped and needs to run again.
Does Wibu get updated along with AC? And if it doesn't, why not?

TIA
WIBU should get updated. But, the WIBU on the installation CD/DVD is not always the most current one, even if it is the one that was tested for QA by Graphisoft.

I have one key that has 'issues' on Mac OS X for some reason, and the 5.20 WIBU software delivered with 11 would would recognize the key, but AC 11 would not. However, downloading the more recent 5.20c from www.wibu.com works perfectly.
The WIBU driver shouldn't be and is not updated by the ArchiCAD hotfix.
The ArchiCAD 11 installer will install/update the latest version that Graphisoft have been testing with, but the hotfixes will leave it alone entirely. If you want to upgrade your version of the WIBU driver, you can download it from WIBU's website, but you shouldn't need to do so except in unusual situations(like running ArchiCAD 10, but not 11, on Windows Vista).

seems like there's a difference of opinion here...

GS? Could you clarify? When applying a hotfix does/should the wibu software be updated?

It does matter here because there are over 100 CAD stations...
I think I misunderstood your question. If you're updating from AC10 to AC11, then the WIBU driver gets updated. If you're only installing a hotfix, then I would only expect it to get updated if it's in the release notes.

Exactly what I thought, too. I'm not aware of any hotfixes to date that have included WIBU patches.
