I am evaluating a HP500 on my G5 PowerMac.. advice?

Hello,

I am evaluating an HP500 on my G5 (starting tomorrow) and wanted to see if there were any other setups like mine out there to ask about performance, tips, tricks or just a simple "how did you hook it up?". I wish I were more knowledgeable, but then what good would be this forum

Got mine about a month ago.
Installation= just plug the USB cable

I have the 24" it prints fast with good quality and doesn't waste a lot of ink. The only thing I have not been able to do is to print non-standard page sizes 24"x72" for example.

And if using it between linked computers, the "shared printer" aspect of OS X means that as long as the host computer is on, it functions like a networked printer.

Just a follow up to my evaluation.. we're buying it! Kicked ass right out of the box and my G5 had all the drivers pre-loaded, don't ask me how?? I know that I did download and install the latest GIMP drivers before they delivered the HP500. Maybe that was it.

Even the delivery guys were amazed at how quick I was plotting from PlotMaker (in less than a minute!). That's how stuff is supposed to work right?
