topic Plotter setup in Installation & update

<T>I have been using Archicad for more years than I want to admit. After taking a couple of years off to build a new home I have finally upgraded my computer and operating system to Tiger and 8.1.1. My problem is that I cannot get my HP Designjet 230 to plot from either Archicad nor Plotmaker. I have the connection through a USB port through a Belkin cable converter to the SCSI cable. Prior to changing computers and 6.5 I was plotting through Microspot plotware. The Plotter is set at 38400 Baud rate.
Any suggestions.</T>

The easiest thing might be to use an old Mac as a plot server. The Plot Flow program included with ArchiCAD will do the trick. (This assumes you have an old Mac kicking around.) I suspect that a USB to SCSI adapter will bring only pain and frustration. It would probably be easier to buy that old Mac on e-bay if you had to.
