To conserve memory when using Open GL, reduce options, especially textures, that take a lot of memory to calculate.

Considering PC? Good riddance! Memory should use more than 2Gigabigs but ArchiCAD not address it.

<T>Hi All

I am using G5 dual 2.7. now

I find when using openGL in 3D generation, more system memory is used. For instances, I have a model when using openGL , 1.2G memory is used. When using ArchiCAD internal engine, 600MB is used.

Meanwhile I have a bigger model. It is OK when using ArchiCAD internal engine but program error and quit while using OpenGL.

Any gentleman know the problem?

I would like to switch to use PC. I think the memory should use more than 2G . Is ArchiCAD support 64 bit addressing in PC?

Thanks</T>
