Crashes out ArchiCad - just quits. Reloaded ArchiCad - loaded the latest update and it still won't import. Everything else works just fine. All other programs run normally. Any ideas?
Sounds like serious file corruption. Have you tried a new and reset to get back to AC default file then try importing stuff? If that works then your current file is corrupted.

Where to go from there? Well I would start by saving all preferences and working environment just for peace of mind. Go back to the bpn file (your last but one backup)

If that's no good then you may have to create a new project file and carefully and sytematically copy and paste the work into it.

Just my ideas unless anyone has a better suggestion?

Tried the New & Reset All = crash of AC10 & bug report. Also, AC 9 works just fine - allows imports. Was reading down the list of topics and saw that installing QT 7.1.5 (which I did last week) was causing problems with AC10. Might this be the problem?

Havn't got the problem myself because I'm running Intel mac, but it's a good bet. Perhaps your reseller can help out?

Turned out QT 7.1.5 was the culprit. Used Pacifist as noted in the other thread and went back to 7.1.3 and now everything works fine.

That QT update is causing havoc.

Anyway, glad you've solved it. If it didn't automatically generate a bug report then it is worth you sending an email to Graphisoft so that they can add it to their log of issues that have been raised with Apple.
