crash on start, about open GDL failure or something

i can't use archicad 10 because when it opens new project, it hanged, saying something about open GDL problem or something. if i close the work palette( the one on the left side, containing walls, windows, etc commands) i can use it on floor plan view, but i can't open 3d view because there are yet again failure and failure reports. now i have to open my old files from archicad 8 and from there then i can use archicad 10. but that is a bother... can you help me?

Does it hang up if your "project settings" and "work environment" (at the start up screen) are "ArchiCAD 10 template" and "default"?
Are you importing custom library parts?

That will be an "OpenGL" problem.

Is this a new machine?

What is your configuration?

Is your video card compatible?
