WiBu Key Problems with AC 14 upgrade?

HELP!

Upgrading from AC13 to AC14 & my dongle Key will NOT upgrade & AC14 will not see it? WHY?

I have gone to Graphisoft Upgrade website, download Upgrades, WiBU Site & downloaded Upgrades, Uninstalled AC14, REinstalled AC14, UNinstalled WIBUKEY, REinstalled WIBU Key...ARRRRRRRRG!

AC13 still works with dongle Key. AC14 Does NOT.

PLEASE HELP!

WHY does Graphisoft just send a NEW dongle with NEW version of ArchiCAD & then you register online which then downloads an UNLOCK CODE for your new dongle. Old dongle is then dead.

You have to update the software within your key to "Authorize" it to run AC14 it has nothing to do with upgrading the "drivers" or reinstalling applications.

Please read this:

You should have received this information and instructions with your upgrade package.

This is how you UNLOCK your current DONGLE, no need to mail you a new one.

Thanks for the help.

As I stated before: I have gone to the upgrade.graphisoft.com website & downloaded the information & update. Multiple times. The dongle does not upgrade?

Also, the paper sheet that came with AC14 box about upgrading dongle shows the on screen images that walk you through the process. THESE images are NOT appearing on my screen during the WIBU KEY upgrade process... So, that is no help.

My point is, that every time I upgrade AC, this is a hassle.
Graphisoft should send a new UPGRADED dongle with your new software. But first you must register on Graphisoft page & then they email you a secret "UNLOCK" code that makes your NEW dongle approved with new + old versions of registered AC & your old dongle will no longer work.

This has been a problem with every upgrade of ArchiCAD for me & it is a hassle.

If you have followed the suggestions in the troubleshooting section then I suggest you send the Java Console Information to your reseller.

Just to be sure what browser are you using and have you tried using another?
